Randolph Caldecott: The Man Who Could Not Stop Drawing

Best known for the children’s book awards named in his honor, the Caldecott Medal and Caldecott Honor Book, Randolph Caldecott was a prolific children’s book illustrator. He captured movement and action of the industrial age in a unique and exciting way, and the medals bestowed on recipients bears his illustration of a galloping horse.
